AI Food Recognition & Photo Processing

When you use our AI food recognition feature, the images you capture are securely transmitted to our server and processed by a third-party AI service (Google Gemini) solely for the purpose of identifying food items and estimating nutritional information. We do not use your personal food images to train AI models. Images are stored in your account for your personal food diary records and are not shared publicly unless you explicitly choose to do so (e.g., sharing stickers).

Eatmoji's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google Health Connect APIs will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Health Connect Write Access

Our App also requests write access to the following Health Connect data types: Steps, Active calories burned, Exercise sessions, and Weight. This write access is used solely to verify that Health Connect permissions have been properly granted by the operating system. The App does not write any user-generated or modified health data back to Health Connect. No permanent data is stored in Health Connect through this process.

You can revoke Health Connect or Apple HealthKit permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking permissions will stop future data syncing but will not delete previously synced data from your account. To delete previously synced data, please use the account deletion feature or contact us.
