How to Request Account Deletion
You can request the permanent deletion of your
Eatmoji account and all associated data using either of
the following methods. We will process your request within 30 days.
📧 Method 1: Email Request (No App Required)
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request account
deletion via email:

"Account Deletion Request"

We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30
days
📱 Method 2: In-App Deletion
If you still have the Eatmoji app installed, you can delete your
account directly:

Open the Eatmoji App on your device

Navigate to your Profile section (usually found in
the bottom navigation or menu)

Scroll down to find the
"Delete Account" button

Tap "Delete Account" and confirm your decision when
prompted
⚠️ Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Please ensure you have backed up any important data before proceeding
with account deletion.
Data Deletion and Retention Policy
📋 Data That Will Be Deleted
Within 30 days of your deletion request, the following data will be
permanently removed:

Account Information: Username, email address, and
profile details

Nutritional Data: All logged meals, food entries, and
nutrition tracking history

Photos: All food photos and images uploaded to your
account

Health Data: Exercise logs and health metrics synced
from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect

Chat History: All conversations with our AI nutrition
assistant

Preferences: App settings, dietary preferences, and
customizations
📊 Data That May Be Retained
For legal, security, and operational purposes, we may retain certain data
for additional periods:

Anonymous Subscription Data: We do not process,
collect, or store sensitive payment information (such as credit card
numbers or billing addresses). All payments are securely processed by
the respective app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play). We only
retain anonymous subscription status data provided by our revenue
management integration (such as purchased subscription tiers,
transaction dates, and expiration dates) associated with an anonymous
user ID. This data is kept solely to grant access to premium features,
verify active subscriptions, and assist with account inquiries.

Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics that
cannot identify individual users

Legal Requirements: Data required by law to be retained
for specific periods

Your account and personal data will be completely deleted within 30
days
of your deletion request.

Before You Delete
Before deleting your account permanently, please note:

You can revoke Health Connect or HealthKit permissions at any time in your device settings without deleting your account.

If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through Google Play or the App Store before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
